Descending deep, where shadows reside,
In the crypt of sorrow, emotions hide.
I don’t want to feel, numbness is my shield.
But, alas, in this silence, my destiny is sealed.
I have danced with death many a night.
Yet, somehow, I emerge to the light.
Life, a stern mistress, cruel and cold.
Yet, her harsh whispers and stories unfold.
Time, an ever-present phantom, sly.
Whispers of futures where dreams die.
I no longer seek another’s embrace.
In solitude’s arms, I find my place.
Happiness, a fleeting ghost we chase,
In our labyrinth, a never-ending race.
I am lost in thoughts, a stormy maze,
Wishing for dawn to pierce this haze.
